The Bichon dog is a smallish, but very strong dog. Usually with round eyes which are black or dark brown. The ears are low and have long hair. The teeth typically have an overbite. The Bichon dog coat has colors that vary from solid white, cream, gray or apricot. Bichon dog owners regularly shave the dog that is uniformed across the body.

 

The Bichon dog breed appreciates affection and company. They have an independent streak and are is very smart. They are loving, brave and very energetic. The Bichon dog has a bit of a stubborn, but happy temperament that makes them comfortable to have around the house.

 

This dog breed are readily attentive for dog obedience training. They are naturally social and are most happy when they are part of family activity. They adjust well when around other dogs & strange people and are tremendous to have around children. This breed is competitive and obedient.

 

The Bichon needs structured obedience. Bichon dog obedience training that establish boundaries are essential for a happy relationship. The Bichon needs regular exercise. They will quickly develop Neapolean syndrome if you don't establish the alpha leader role early in the relationship. If you establish that you are the pack leader, and are calm, consistent and assertive and provide daily routines including exercise and walks, the Bichon will be a very stable and trustworthy companion.
